Focus Fine Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Focus Fine mobile application (“App”), provided by the Focus Fine team (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Focus Fine is a productivity tool designed to help users reduce distractions by blocking selected applications on Android devices. Certain features may include paid functionality, such as an early unlock fee, which allows users to manually override a block.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
  • By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:

  • reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract the App’s source code;
  • use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
  • interfere with or bypass the App’s security or blocking mechanisms.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • configuring blocking rules, schedules, and settings;
  • any consequences resulting from disabling or overriding blocks;
  • ensuring that your device meets the technical requirements for the App.

The App is provided as a self-control and productivity aid, not as a guarantee of focus, performance, or results.

5. Payments and Early Unlock Fee

  • Certain features of the App may require payment through Google Play In-App Purchases.
  • All payments are processed by Google Play.
  • We do not store your full payment information.
  • The early unlock fee is optional and user-initiated.
  • All purchases are subject to Google Play’s billing terms and refund policies.

6. No Professional Advice

  • The App does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice.
  • Any productivity outcomes depend solely on your personal behavior and choices.

7. Availability and Modifications

We may:

  • modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time;
  • update features, functionality, or pricing.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All rights, title, and interest in the App, including software, design, text, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to us.
  • You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • the App will meet your expectations;
  • the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • the use of the App will result in improved productivity.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
  • loss of productivity, data, or device functionality;
  • damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

11. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
  • You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, in compliance with applicable European Union law.

13. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • The latest version will always be available in the App or on the Google Play page.
